Both Parties In Control
The SpeakUp system has been designed in a way that both the employee and the company are in control of the dialogue. The SpeakUp system transfers the undistorted original messages (and translations) between the company representative and the reporting employee. They communicate directly with each other; there is nobody (call centre operator, interpreter, confidant or other intermediary) in between who can take over the case management or distort the message. This feature is further refined by the fact that SpeakUp has built-in time lags, which allows both the employee and the company to formulate their messages carefully.
The employee and the company are in control, which makes SpeakUp both a system that protects the employee as well as a system that protects the company.
